Recognition technology specialist CVision will be showing some new mobile technology at next week’s Consumer Electronics (CES) in Las Vegas. According to the press release, “Applying their high accuracy OCR engine to the realm of mobile technology, CVision has created a recognition tool that allows users to conveniently recognize and process documents by simply taking a photo of it with their mobile devices.”
CVision has received funding from the National Science Foundation to develop its “super-fast” OCR technology and apply it to smartphones and tablets. “This mobile recognition technology enables…end-users to take a photo of a document or object with their mobile device to receive real-time information.”
