TEMPE, AZ, November 8, 2016 – VisualVault, a SaaS-based (BPA)/ Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software company has moved all VisualVault clients into Amazon Web Services (AWS) Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) leveraging multiple AWS services as part of their global strategy .
A long time SaaS provider, VisualVault’s AWS investment is part of a strategy to offer global clients a geographical disbursement of content and data that is well-suited to meet today’s demanding security, compliance and governance requirements. “AWS has continually met and exceeded our performance expectations for our enterprise clients with demanding Service Level Agreements,” stated Tod Olsen, CTO of VisualVault. “We have very large clients managing mission critical business processes so reliability, scalability and security are critical for us to service their requirements.”
The move from a private cloud to AWS has been met with positive feedback from existing as well as prospective clients. By virtue of extensive planning and diligent execution, the transition has been seamless and has met all timetables. The upside for current as well as prospective VisualVault clients includes scalability, increased performance levels that are capable of accommodating the input of large repositories of content and data with demanding Service Level requirements and providing better geographic coverage of data centers; effectively eliminating potential global data residency issues.
“With very demanding timelines, we have already successfully executed the migration from legacy ECM and EMR systems to AWS for several enterprise level clients and have met or exceeded their requirements,” stated Olsen. “The ability to immediately add processing capacity is critical; as most of the migrations have been larger than forecasted.
