Handy Business App for All Smartphones
New Windsor NY, February 16, 2016 – ECM specialist DocuWare announces the third generation of its mobile app. Besides a completely revamped interface, DocuWare Mobile is making waves with its enhanced workflow features. Mobile users can be integrated into complex processes and tackle parallel tasks right on their smartphones.
Mobility has been top priority at DocuWare for many years. At CeBIT 2011, the ECM developer launched DocuWare Mobile for Apple iPhones, which was the first mobile solution on the market; apps for Android and Windows phones quickly followed. Since 2014, DocuWare’s PaperScan app has been turning smartphones into powerful mobile scanners. With PaperOrganizer, the app added two years ago, users are storing all types of documents in a smart, well-organized manner right in their online file cabinet.
With DocuWare Mobile, the third generation of their mobile app, working remotely is now even easier and more comfortable. Customer experiences and feedback flowed into their ongoing development of the product, which resulted in enhanced usability and performance. Now, a dashboard clearly shows all relevant workflow tasks and allows users to directly access and edit documents on their smartphone. The app is the same on all platforms – whether iOS, Android or Windows operating system – so that all users have access to the same features through the same interface. System administrators also have an easier time making any adjustments.
Third Generation App for ECM Processes
DocuWare Mobile is a mature solution – offering benefits across the board, from searching in a central document pool to the storage of digital/scanned documents out of any application to complex workflow tasks, including escalation management and surrogate rules. Users can also add stamps to a document, for example, to approve an invoice for payment. Complementary tasks can also be tackled right on a smartphone.
DocuWare Mobile replaces all mobile versions of the DMS and will be available for download starting in March from the Play Store, Apple Store and Windows Store.
