Strong Cloud Adoption and Accelerating Market Traction Worldwide

Drives Six-Year Growth Rate of Nearly 1,000 Percent

DALLAS, February 17, 2016: M-Files Corporation, a provider of solutions that dramatically improve how businesses manage documents and other information, today announced 2015 growth figures that highlight the strong global demand for its enterprise information management (EIM) solutions that enable organizations to easily store and secure important business documents and information, and to optimize related business workflows and processes.

According to the forecasted growth rate for the enterprise content management (ECM) market in 2015 from Gartner1, the company’s revenue grew more than 35 times the rate of the overall ECM market.

“M-Files continues to grow at a pace that far exceeds the rate of the overall industry, as well as every other prominent EIM and ECM vendor,” said Jim Geary, executive chairman at M-Files Corporation. “We’re outperforming the competition because M-Files is dramatically easier to use and adopt than other unwieldy ECM solutions offered by ‘old-school’ vendors. In short, it just works better — a lot better!”

The growth of M-Files in 2015 was driven in part by a strong surge in the adoption of its cloud-based solutions, with a more than 56 percent increase in SaaS revenue in 2015 over 2014. The company also saw a strong jump in both revenue and bookings in 2015, with a 42 percent increase in bookings over 2014. In addition, M-Files experienced strong revenue growth in key regions around the world, particularly in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Switzerland. The company’s strong revenue growth in 2015 culminated in a six-year growth rate of nearly 1,000 percent.

The M-Files partner channel was also a key driver of worldwide growth in 2015, with total revenue generated through the company’s partner network growing by over 60 percent compared to 2014. M-Files is rapidly adding new channel partners, with the total number of partners growing over 450 partners operating in 103 countries in 2015.

“One of the reasons why M-Files has become such a disruptive force in the information management industry is because it intelligently delivers content in context,” continued Geary. “The ability to accurately and consistently establish what is most relevant for a given user is where the value of our unique metadata-driven approach reveals itself. M-Files does this better than all other alternatives by making it easy to link structured data from core business systems, such as CRM, ERP, HR, etc., with documents and other unstructured content. The result is an integrated and more intelligent information environment that ensures users find the right information faster, regardless of their role or the system being used. This fundamental differentiation, along with our fast growth and traction in the market, confirms we’re making great progress toward our vision of ‘changing the way the world manages information.'”
