SHARP HOSTS NATIONAL DEALER MEETING IN SAN ANTONIO, TX

Event themed around Relationships@Work highlights technology innovations

MAHWAH, NJ, Dec. 4, 2015 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, is hosting its National Dealer Meeting from December 3 to 6, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. Themed Relationships@Work, Sharp’s flagship dealer event will display how best to differentiate the brand from the competition, offering exciting business opportunities and showcasing groundbreaking technologies. Participants will meet Sharp senior executives, attend informative educational seminars and have the opportunity to visit the impressive Technology Exhibition featuring the company’s award-winning product lineup and 63 third-party exhibitors. Attendees will also learn about partner program member initiatives and Sharp’s latest innovations.

“Our conference is focused on helping our dealerships gain a better understanding of the company’s direction and to expand both their personal and professional network,” says Doug Albregts, President, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. “Sharp aims to connect products, people and an integrated network of business relationships to add value to all of our partners.”

In keeping with this year’s theme, Sharp is announcing integrated products and solutions through partner programs that provide expanded products and solutions that dealers can offer through one unified purchasing channel. The channel will bring value through integrated product offerings of numerous solutions, including cost accounting and access control, document management, workflow, security, production printing and more.

Sharp’s relationships with its dealer community are key to the company’s ability to bring the right products and solutions to the U.S. market. To this end, Sharp will preview 13 new hardware products, complemented by a host of new software offerings, at the meeting. The models are packed with innovative features that make them easier to sell, plus a common design that makes them easier to support.

New Family of Versatile Color MFPs Offer Greater Flexibility
Sharp is showcasing a new series of 10 mid-to-high-volume color document systems offered in two distinct varieties: the Advanced Series and Essentials Series. Built on a clean sheet, single-engine design, this new family of color MFPs empowers businesses of every size to choose the performance and features they need, while taking advantage of the learning curve of a common interface. Businesses will also appreciate the common toner supplies on all 10 models.

Designed to provide users with a seamless, intuitive experience for every price point, the latest color MFP models give businesses the confidence in knowing their jobs will come out right the first time, every time.

The new MX-3070N, MX-3570N and MX-4070N Advanced Series color document systems are available immediately for purchase via authorized Sharp dealers and direct sales. The MX-3050N, MX-3550N and MX4050N Essentials Series color document systems will be available in the first quarter of 2016. The MX-5070N and MX-6070N Advanced Series color document systems, and the MX-5050N and MX-5060N Essentials Series color document systems will be available in the second quarter of 2016.

Offering a Broader Mix of Products and Services through Strategic Relationships
Sharp will be providing the means for its dealers to gain new clients and provide more services by offering a broader mix of products and services. The relationships highlighted during the event aim to complement dealers’ existing business and include strategic relationships with companies such as Clover, Fujitsu and Tech Data Mobile Solutions. Sharp will also showcase its Partner Program members. Member offerings on display include cost accounting and access control, document management, workflow, security and production printing to name a few.

New Solutions and Software
Sharp’s award-winning content management tool Cloud Portal Office (CPO) will also be highlighted during the event. Additionally, Sharp will preview CPO’s ability to link with automated capture tools, such as those from Drivve, Prism and Fujitsu. Through this type of integration, Sharp dealers will be able to provide a turnkey capture and content management solution.

Sharp will also preview its own Kayleigh Job Accounting Software. The software offers an entry-level, competitively priced cost management solution that helps organizations manage, monitor and track print and scan activities to optimize usage.
