ORLANDO, Fla. (May 2, 2017) Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions again team up to host reseller and end user event, 2017 LEAD (Learn Engage Act Deliver), May 2-5 at the Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.  The two Toshiba companies collaborated during last year’s award-winning LEAD 2016 event in Las Vegas and at the recent National Retail Federation (NRF) in New York.
LEAD 2017 is expected to draw 1,350 Toshiba end users, resellers, business partners and industry media and analysts.  Attendees will experience the unveiling of Elevate, an embedded platform engineered for use with Toshiba’s e-STUDIO multifunction printers.  Elevate is a customized user interface that simplifies user operation and helps optimizes workflow, security, accounting and end user productivity.
LEAD 2017 will include an innovative product fair featuring demonstrations of Toshiba’s  document workflow solutions, award-winning MFPs, digital signage, thermal barcode printers as well as the entire suite of point of sale hardware, software and services.
The event includes 40 educational sessions tailored to help attendees operate more profitably and improve their customers’ user experience.  Toshiba also continues its tradition of presenting exceptional speakers including a keynote to be delivered by former Navy SEAL, Marcus Luttrell, whose battle experience is portrayed in the movie Lone Survivor.
“We have a lot in store for our resellers, end users and business partners at LEAD,” said Bill Melo, Chief Marketing Executive of Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions.  “We have a full agenda with sessions covering the latest in both office printing and retail commerce technology including: industry-specific document workflow solutions, digital signage, retail point of sale solutions, brand building through social media and cloud-based services, along with entertainment and social events.”
Toshiba’s previous five LEAD events have been recognized with Stevie Awards, the world’s top honors for customer service, contact center, business development and sales professionals.
