Secure Capture for Cloud Applications

However, a rush to embrace cloud computing without careful consideration of critically important cybersecurity technologies and concepts are putting your business, your customers and your career at great risk. In this session, we will discuss the important considerations, and big mistakes to avoid, that Capture software and hardware companies make when moving to the cloud.

Healthcare from the Shift to Telemedicine - What are the Capture Opportunities
Traditionally Capture has been mostly related to administration and records management. More recently it has been deployed to extract data for analytics. But with Capture 2.0 services, it can be deployed to support the shift to telemedicine with such technologies as voice stress analysis, sentiment analysis, photographic analysis of ailments, and video analysis of areas such as walking. When combined with sensors, this provides a set of very exciting opportunities. This session will explore the potential use cases for these Capture technologies.

P&C Insurance Leveraging Omni-Channel Capture - How claims were managed during the pandemic and what will remain?
This session will discuss the opportunities and threats caused by a shift from paper-based claims to electronic, or a mix of electronic forms with some paper forms, emails and attached files plus photos and videos significantly accelerated during the pandemic. Insurance carriers had to be flexible in accepting multi-channel inputs, often finding workarounds and ad-hoc approaches to serve their customers. But this leads to new potential to better control risk as they define their post-pandemic processes which will be significantly different compared to their established workflows prior to the pandemic.

Looming M-19-21 Records Management Deadlines and Opportunities for Service Bureau Sales to the Federal Government
The M-19-21 NARA and OMB deadlines for transitioning the Federal government to electronic records were first raised at the 2019 Capture conference. Developments over the two years since then raise a number of challenges -- and opportunities -- for Service Bureaus and capture vendors. 1) How do Service Bureaus and capture vendors need to position their offerings in this environment? 2) What is the impact of new digitization standards based on FADGI criteria for permanent records? 3) How is M-19-21 creating opportunities for Capture 2.0 technologies and inputs including voice, video and social media that affect archives in a digitized world? 4)What do capture vendors need to provide to help traditional Service Bureaus and Service Providers capitalize on these opportunities?
