Update enhances nForm’s versatility in secure paperless capture and transfer of forms and signatures on tablets

Elmhurst, IL, February 16, 2016 — Ambir Technology has released nForm Version 1.1 of its groundbreaking solution for paperless and secure capture and transfer of forms and signatures through iOS and Android tablets or the Ambir 410x wired form pad.

nForm is constantly evolving to provide more ways for users to securely fill out, sign and transmit electronic forms into digital information systems and repositories through a simple yet elegant user interface. By employing the ease and convenience of tablets, a truly paperless workflow is achieved from form design to signature to capture,” said Mark Druziak, Director of Product Development at Ambir Technology.

“Since its introduction earlier this year, we’ve found our nForm solution is being deployed by a varied base of customers including healthcare professionals, for whom we envisioned the solution, and users in other disciplines such as education, human resources, employment, staffing among countless business segments that otherwise are bogged down by paper-based forms, wet-ink signatures and paper storage.  By incorporating user feedback, version 1.1 delivers enhancements and improved versatility. Users of nForm Version 1 can download Version 1.1 free of charge from our web page at www.ambir.com/nform.”

nForm version 1.1 new features include:

·         in-depth indexing with up to three index values

·         user-definable file name prefixes to identify workstations and offices

·         optional date and time stamps

·         assignment of tablet names

·         consistency of original form name sent to nForm

·         file output resolutions from 150 to 600 dpi (to optimize OMR)

·         automatic document feeder (ADF) mode to save and send a number of forms at once.

“Priced as a yearly subscription per tablet, we’ve made changes regarding tablet management to help users get more mileage out of subscription cost and improved installation,” Druziak added. “Users now can share tablets between two or more workstations, we’ve increased the speed in tablet detection to reduce installation time, and we’ve provided additional accuracy for handwriting registration for the Ambir 410x wired form pad.”

Like its predecessor, nForm version 1.1 works with existing paper or digital forms in PDF, Word or image formats — no need for users to purchase special or proprietary forms — and features zero integration with commercially available electronic health record systems and document/information management applications through its TWAIN driver and automatic saving function.

nForm version 1.1 is available now on a subscription basis through authorized Ambir resellers and value added distributors. For additional information about nForm, visit http://www.ambir.com/nForm.
